Stabilisers:

Pectin (INS 440) is a naturally occurring substance found in berries, apples and other fruit. When heated together with sugar, it causes athickening of the syrup. It is used to make medicine. People use pectin for high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and to prevent colon cancer and prostate cancer

Xanthan gum (INS 415) is a bacteria-derived product; xanthan gum is commonly used as a thickening and stabilizing agent in both food and medicine. Because of its binding properties, xanthan gum can serve as a replacement for gluten in foods designed for people who suffer from celiac disease. Xanthan gum was shown to have cancer-fighting properties


Acidity Regulator:

Citric acid (INS 330) is an organic acid found most abundantly in fruits (especially citrus fruits) like lemons, limes, grapefruit, pineapples, and oranges. It is a natural ingredient that can boost detoxification and support healthy digestion, energy levels, and kidney function.


Preservatives:

Potassium sorbate (INS 202) is a salt of sorbic acid which is naturally found in some fruits (like the berries of mountain ash). It’s a preservative used for decades. Toxicity is close to table salt.

Sodium benzoate (INS 211) is a salt of Benzoic Acid, found naturally in cranberries, prunes, plums, cinnamon, ripe cloves, and apples.
